
Lord of the Strings is a one of a kind stringed music instrument repair/making shop in the heart of Beacon, NY.
Conveniently located off of Main Street, master luthier John Vergara constructs various types of musical stringed instruments including guitars (classical and flamenco), ouds, violins and kanuns. He also performs expert repairs on instruments of occidental and oriental origins. Guitars (acoustic or electric), ouds, violin family instruments, (violas, cellos, basses), mandolins, ukuleles, banjos, kanuns, setar, tar, sarod, sitar and Puerto Rican cuatro, tres and much more.
If you need a repair, and would like an estimate please contact Mr. Vergara for an appointment. (There is a $10 minimum charge for time inspecting/troubling shooting your instrument if you choose not to go ahead with the repair per instrument.)
Maintenance on stringed instruments is imperative. One should bring their instrument in every six months for basic maintenance. This will help prevent more severe damage to the instrument rendering it into a state which requires repair or "resurrection".
